“We have been attending the Hope for Ollie Christmas Gingerbread house event since it started 5 years ago and it is now part of our family Christmas tradition. We love the community feeling you get as soon as you walk into the hall, are handed a high quality gingerbread house and then can select from an array of lollies to decorate your house. There is the ability to be creative in the company of likeminded friendly people. A sprinkle of snow at the end and no mess to clean up. We’ve known Ollie since he was born and love that we can support the fundraising efforts in this unique and memorable way. A must to create Christmas memories with your kids.”

“I have been going to the Hope for Ollie gingerbread fundraiser for the last few years. It has become a lovely Christmas tradition that I enjoy with my girls and our good friends. It gets us excited about Christmas but we also love that we get to donate to such a wonderful cause in such a fun way.”

“Our 3 boys look forward to participating in the Hope for Ollie Gingerbread House Day every year. It has become a family Christmas tradition since we first met Ollie and his family when my son was in Ollie’s Kindergarten class. It is such a feel-good way for our family to have fun supporting Ollie whilst having a wonderful time together creating our Gingerbread House in time for Christmas.”

“Each year, one of the highlights of our December is the Hope for Ollie Gingerbread house making workshop. The kids look forward to the day as a key event in our Christmas festivities, and there is always much hilarity as we assemble and decorate our gingerbread house. The event itself is a wonderful occasion and always exceptionally well organised. It's a fun couple of hours where we socialise, create and raise funds for one of our favourite organisations, Hope for Ollie. The joy of making and decorating your own gingerbread house is only surpassed by the sense of community and spirit of Christmas giving that permeates the day. It truly is a great event, and one we never miss!”

“We have been coming to the Gingerbread House fundraiser since it started in 2013 - and we wouldn't miss it for anything! This is the most enjoyable Christmas activity you can do - it's such good fun and wonderful to know we are helping Ollie and other boys with DMD at the same time. The kits are reasonably priced, easy to assemble and absolutely delicious, and there are so many lollies to choose from that the kids can all make their own unique design. It is really easy to book and we come with groups of friends and have a fabulous time every year, parents included! Big thanks, Hope for Ollie, and see you again in December!”
